We've already seen a new Kimberly costume teased for the event, but there is a lot of hope that SF6 will receive one more chance to play the game before launch via another open or closed beta test, which would presumably be revealed at the showcase. Interestingly, the full game isn't much larger than the SF6 Closed Beta application that sat around 42 GB, so most of the contents are likely there, just locked away from players of course.Īlthough they've already announced all of the launch characters already, Capcom is going to be hosting a special Street Fighter 6 Showcase on April 20 where they promise 'big news and announcements.'
This date is only confirmed for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 at the moment as far as we can tell, but the timing will likely be consistent across all / most platforms.Īccording to the Xbox store page for SF6 now, the game is listed as being around 50 GB in approximate install size, which is about the same as the Steam page that says it'll require about 60 GB.įor anyone who's played other Capcom titles using the RE Engine as of late, that size seems to be about right, and hopefully we won't be forced to essentially re-download the game every time it gets an update like Street Fighter 5 (although that game did use the Unreal Engine 4 which caused the issue).

Those who've pre-ordered Street Fighter 6 digitally will apparently be able to download the game starting on according to Twisted Voxel.
